SPEDI software has been helping retailers improve their business and increase profits for nearly 30 years. Originally developed for convenience stores, our EPoS is now in use in about 2,000 retail stores throughout Great Britain.

We remain close to our customers through our support staff and dealers. Our support team have long experience in retailing, and our customers appreciate their friendly manner and depth of knowledge. Ideas and requests from our customers are passed to our developers who use them to ensure that our products continue to give our users the benefits that they ask for. When new technology emerges, we are quick to use it to benefit both existing and new customers.

We can help all sizes of store. Our users include stores with one till, and stores with up to twenty. If you have more than one store, our software will improve control and save work across the chain.

We offer our software through a dealer network which means that you get the benefit of local knowledge and contacts, backed up by our wide experience. SPEDI software is used by major retail chains, and is often offered under their own brand names.

Although we remain experts in convenience stores and news, our software runs successfully in many store types including chemists, discount stores, hospitals, holiday parks, local wholesalers, butchers, hardware, fishing supplies, equestrian suppliers and even a supplier of body piercing jewelry.

We have wide experience of linking stores electronically to their major suppliers, a process which offers many benefits. We link to all the major grocery and news wholesalers as well as PayPoint.

In April 2015, the company was acquired by Universe Group plc to become part of their trading division HTEC. This gives us extra resources to develop new products and to work with our dealers and with major retailers. It also gives us access to many products already developed by HTEC such as links to forecourts. We are looking forward to an exciting future as the combined team work with new technology to provide us with the ability to offer exciting new facilities to our retailers.
